Caboolture Urban Country Music Festival

2010 marks the 7th year of the Urban Country Music Festival, held in Caboolture over Queensland's Labour Day Long Weekend.

This year promises to be the biggest yet, with four days of music and entertainment across 15 stages.

The festival features a host of free events and concerts, including a fireworks display and opening night concert to kick off the weekend, a Bush Poet's Breakfast, the Beaut Ute competition, the Urban Country Talent Search, whip cracking and horse demonstrations at the Stockman's Arena, a Caravan and Camping Corner, the Songwriters' Cafew, markets and food stalls, plus organised activities to keep the kids occupied.

The big drawcard is the Main Concert which happens on Saturday, May 1, from 2pm at the Caboolture Showgrounds, featuring Luke Austen, Harmony James, Amber Lawrence, Diana Trask, Beccy Cole, John Williamson, Troy Cassar-Daley and Kasey Chambers.

The 2010 Urban Country Music Festival kicks off at 6pm on Friday, April 20, and runs through until the afternoon on Monday, May 3.
