Troy Cassar-Daley

Troy Cassar-Daley has just released his seventh studio album 'I Love This Place' and is set to tour it around Australia, proudly supported by ABC Country.

Troy describes the album title more as a state of mind rather than any place you can find on a map:

"I really wanted people to see just how happy you could be in one particular stage of your life," he said.

"More people should just pull up and smell the roses sometimes."

Songs on I Love This Place have been co-written with several well-established artists including Don Walker, Colin Buchanan, the McClymonts and Brisbane-based singer songwriter Mark Sholtez.

Musicians appearing on the album including Bill Risby on piano, Mitch Farmer on drums, Clayton Doley on Hammond organ, Jeff Mc Cormack on bass, Rod McCormack on acoustic guitar, banjo, electric guitar, mandolin, lap steel and dobro, Camille Te Nahu on backing vocals and naturally, Troy on electric and acoustic guitars and mandolin.
