My road i live on in my hometown is IRVINGDALE RD. Its the best country rd to live on its busy most days and gets so dusty because its gravel. Its true country to live here and i love it, have many memories here and lots more to come. The fresh air and atomsphere on this rd is great. Thats how i would like to have my Irvingdale Rd immortalised in a song. Catherine Britt is a great country singer and has the best songs too. Cheers Belinda

Homebush road leads north from Balranald NSW, to the Homebush Hotel. We used to live just 6 miles from town and a lot of friends lived further out on a continuance of the road, which was simply known as the Back Country road. It epitomises the iconic people and places of Australia, when all you need to say is "its in the Back country".

The convict-built Great North Road is full of history & started from Five Dock & ran to the Hunter Valley.  I grew up in a street just off the Eastwood section (North Road) near where my ancestor Maria Smith had her orchard on the road, & she is of course now famous for the apples named after her.

Alan Perkins
Park Rd Rydalmere NSW. The road has undergone a few changes but although the neighbourhood is little like the one I grew up in but the key parts are still there, the fire station the pub the shops and the bowling club...

Broadmere Road, Taroom. It's where I ran out of petrol coming home from a date with my very first boyfriend. It represented coming home from the city to the bush when at Uni and the pure joy once I hit the dirt after a 6 hour drive. Where I learnt to drive. . Where I had to cross gully's in a tinny to get to school when there was flooding. Where I had my first accident and nearly killed my sisters. Where everyone waved to you as they drove by. The good and the bad but most of all the memories.
