Dean Brody CD Giveaway
Dean Brody performed in Australia in early 2011, on the back of his last release - Trail in Life. While in the country, he visited the ABC Country studios, and you can hear an interview and acoustic version of 'Brothers' here.
Trail in Life won him three Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards for Album, Songwriter and Single of the Year, as well as a 2011 JUNO nomination for Country Album of the Year.
Dirt, his third release, was recorded in Nashville with longtime producer/mixer Matt Rovey.
In his own words:
"The title track, 'Dirt', stands out as the most 'country' song on the record and takes a playful look at the role dirt plays in our lives from the time we first come home covered in it, to the moment they lay us down under a nice cool layer of earth for good. It just says a lot in one word."
Festivals, gardening, outback adventures - we all have fond memories around dirt when we think about it. For your opportunity to win a copy of Dirt. on the entry form below, tell us in a short paragraph your favourite dirt story.
