Tara Cahill, NSW
Planet Utopia will host the festival, headlined by Lee Kernaghan’s PLANET COUNTRY TOUR.
Planet Country is a documentary of present day Australia in song. It tells the tale of the real Australia. Lee is a travelling balladeer, an urban poet, a defender of the disadvantaged, who listens to his people and articulates their views in his songs.
Through his music he has given a voice to those who had no voice, hope to those who had no hope, and a sense of belonging to those who felt marginalised.

Congratulations to all our winners - their copies of Planet Country, autographed by the man himself, are on the way. And don't forget to check out our exclusive performance from Lee, including the album's title track.

Two years in the making, Planet Country was recorded in Sydney and Nashville with what Lee describes as "some of the best musicians in the world."

Lee has sold well over one million albums in Australia, won 27 Golden Guitars, 3 Aria Awards, had 26 number one hits and 10 hit albums.

In describing the album, Lee says: "Planet Country is about me and it's about us. There's not one line from any song that I haven't lived myself or believe in. Every song on the album is there for a reason. Everyone who has contributed, from the players, songwriters, production and engineering team has made making Planet Country a highlight of my career. At the end of the day it's only music, but there's something special about this one for me."
