Congratulations to our five winners:
Mark Muller (N.S.W.)
Well it is a toughie!! Quite possibly Catherine Britt, I first saw her along with my wife at Starstruck in Newcastle when as a young High School student she appeared on this (Schools) gig and blew me away at the time.
Then she was in the U.S.A after being heard by Elton John and then more recently with the release of "Little Wildflower". A hell of a talent and
still very natural young lady with not only a great voice, but a very
definite appreciation of a lyric. Exceptional!!
Kelly Laidlaw (QLD)
Kasey Chambers really took country music and turned it into something that even the biggest pop lover could identify with.
Sue Thompson (ACT)
John Williamson...his deep and enduring love of Australia strikes a chord with everyone who listens to and loves his music.
Roberto Colombi (NSW)
Sara Evans - 'Evans' above, she's got the voice of an angel!
Marie Pohnetalova (NSW)
Slim Dusty - a Legend and Icon, that has the standards and leads eveybody else by a 'Country' mile!
