2010 Southern Stars finalists announced
The ceremony, set up in 1997 by the Mildura Country Music Festival Committee recognises the recording achievements of independent musicians in Australian country music.
20 artists feature in the 8 categories with Dianna Corcoran, Brendan Radford, Amber Lawrence and Tracy Killeen leading the list of finalists.
Award’s co-ordinator John Arnold said ‘We received nominations from 88 individual artists and groups, but what really stood out amidst the finalists in the eight judged categories was the mix of well-established artists together with some outstanding emerging talent’.
