2011 Grammy Awards
Lady Antebellum beat mainstream and hip hop artists B.o.B, Cee Lo Green, Eminem, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys to pick up the Record of the Year for Need You Now. The trio were also awarded Song of the Year, Country Album, Country Song and Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
Australian fans will get a chance to see the band in action when they support Keith Urban on his Australian tour in April. The Aussie star also had a good night, he fought off tough competition from Jamey Johnson, Toby Keith, David Nail and Chris Young for Male Country Performance.
Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert, visiting our shores in March with Alan Jackson, performed a striped back version of her hit The House That Built Me during the ceremony and took out the Grammy for Best Female Country Performance.
