"G'day"
Some guidance would certainly be appreciated.
As a bloody ol' retired bloke, to keep me from robbin' banks, I have written a few rhymed pieces all about Aus., some of which may be suitable as song lyrics.
One piece, Maggin' with Macca, was recorded in an amateur studio a while back and sounds pretty good. But I'm probably biased.
A few others have been read to air over ABC Radio.
"Any suggestions" ?
"oobloodyroo"
Jim.
Go Shane!
The same old names get recycled each year - the Central Coast mafia - Adam Harvey, Beccy Cole, Kasey & Shane, etc - all good music - BUT - what about some of the great album releases of the year - 'Life Gets in the Way' by Rose Carleo and 'Dust In The Sky' by Jakki Pollock.Do yourself a favour and listen to some real Australian contemporary music with this music. Someone needs to explain how Keith Urban can be nominated when everything he does is based in and on the USA - these are the AUSTRALIAN Country Music Awards ...... No wonder Country Music in Australia is struggling .............
Good on Shane Nicholson I wish you well as you have a great voice for true Aussie Country and keep it Aussie Country Good luck as I just watched Bill Chambers DVD live at the Pub at Tamworth 2011 and loved every bit of it great to watch true Aussie Country which is far better than what is coming out of America at the moment I Thank You
