Adam Brand wins at the AIR Awards

Adam Brand's latest release, Hell of a Ride, has taken out the gong for Best Independent Country Album at this year’s AIR Awards.

Up against Brand was James Blundell for his Portrait Of A Man album, Kirsty Lee Akers with Better Day, and Tania Kernaghans Livin' The Dream.

The AIR Awards - presented by the Australian Independent Record Labels Association – recognise the music of Australian artists released by Australian-owned independent record companies and distributed through Australian-owned distribution companies.

Adam Brand (born on 27 January 1970) is an Australian musician who sings country music. Active since 1997, he has released seven studio albums and thirteen singles. His first three albums are all certified platinum in Australia. Brand has made two chart entries, including his first American release, "Ready for Love".
