Amber Lawrence represents at Urban Country Music Festival
Lawrence visited Caboolture in south-east Queensland last week to launch the event, and will be back in town over the first weekend of May to perform at the festival alongside Kasey Chambers, Troy Cassar-Daley, John Williamson and Beccy Cole.
In just a couple of years the 29 year-old has earned three Golden Guitar nominations and taken out the Telstra Horizon Award for her work as a young ambassador for Australian country music.
"Two years ago I played Urban Country and I remember thinking how much I wanted to play on that main stage, and now it’s happening," Lawrence told the Caboolture Shire Herald.
Also making appearances at this year’s Urban Country Music Festival are rising country music star Luke Austen, and legendary singer Diana Trask.
