Carrie Underwood wins Artist of the Year...again
The former American Idol won four awards at the event on Monday night, including Album of the Year for Play On and Tour of the Year.
It follows her win at the Academy of Country Music back in April where she was also crowned Artist of the Year.
“We have had the most amazing year out on the road” she said, “but we wouldn’t be doing anything if there weren’t people out there sitting in that audience,”
Lady Antebellum continued their winning streak with four awards including Single of the Year for their hit Need You Now. Brad Paisley was voted Male of Artist of the Year and newcomer Easton Corbin was named Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
Winners were decided by an online vote.
