CMT Music Award winners 2011

Sugarland at CMT awards
Jun 14, 2011 Updated Jul 1, 2011

Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were just some of the artists taking home belt buckles at this year's CMT Music Awards.

After only recently winning three trophies at this year's Billboard Music Awards, Taylor Swift has taken out Video Of The Year for the video of 'Mine' from last year's Speak Now album.

"I want to thank so many people - all the little kids who are in the video and their families for bringing them to Maine and being in the video. And the fans that voted. I don't know what I did to deserve you guys, but you've made so many amazing things happen to me in my life." she said.

Swift took out the prize above other nominees Lady Antebellum, Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert.

Lambert need not have worried, taking out the Female Video category for her song 'The House That Built Me'. For the video, director Trey Fanjoy (also a CMT winner) found a house that was similar to Miranda's childhood home for her to explore, also showing flashbacks to actual home videos of her childhood.

Taking out 2 awards with the Male Video for 'Who Are You When I'm Not Looking' and Best Web Video with 'Kiss My Country Ass', Blake Shelton seemed more amazed that Shania Twain had presented, saying "I'm honored that you fans gathered together and voted me male video artist of the year. My gosh, I can't believe Shania Twain gave me an award."
