Country Music Rocks The Hunter

Organisers announce Alan Jackson as the headliner for Rocks The Hunter 2011.

After selling-out his first ever Australian tour within an hour, fans will get another chance to see the American country superstar Alan Jackson when he headlines Rocks The Hunter at Hope Estate in the Hunter Valley on 5th and 6th March.

He will join some of country music’s biggest names including; Miranda Lambert, Joe Nichols, Jack Ingram, Troy Cassar-Daley, Emerson Drive, The McClymonts, Buxton Hughes, Jasmine Rae, Russell Morris, O'Shea, Dean Brody, and Jonah's Road.

Also appearing at the festival will be local artists Peter McWhirter, Dianna Corcoran, Mike Carr & Springfield, Victoria Baillie, Busby Marou, McAlister Kemp, The Wilson Pickers, Mark Wells, Harmony James, Liam Brew, Markus Meier, Jayne Denham and Stephanie Brownlee.

There is also one more surprise guest artist to be announced.

Markus Meier, My predicition is that this young Aussie artist will become a King of Country, can't wait to see him in March at the Hunter. I have been following with interest for many years.
