Country stars play for Slim
Proceeds from the event - which will include performances by Troy Cassar-Daley, Adam Harvey, The Bushwackers, The Sunny Cowgirls and Lou Bradley - will be donated to the Slim Dusty Foundation which was set up to build a museum in Slim's hometown of Kempsey, NSW, to honour his long and illustrious career.
Construction of the Slim Dusty Centre is under way and is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
The museum is designed to keep the memory of Slim Dusty alive, giving visitors the opportunity to experience Australia through Slim's eyes.
The centre is also developing a scholarship program, to give young talented musicians a leg-up in their country music careers.
