Harmony James wins APRA Development Award

Rising country star Harmony James has won the APRA Professional Development Award in the Country category.

APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association) announced the winners of its bi-annual honours on Monday, with eight Australian songwriters and composers chosen from a talented pool of 2500 music artists.

The artists were selected in the categories of Popular Contemporary (3 winners), Film & Television, Classical, Jazz and Indigenous and will receive a career boosting prize worth over $25,000.
