Justin Townes Earle
Aug 20, 2010 Updated Sep 23, 2010

Steve Earle’s son releases his new album ‘Harlem River Blues’ in September.

The follow up to last year’s Midnight at the Movies features some pedal steel from Calexico’s Paul Niehaus, percussive guitar and stand-up bass lines by Bryn Davies and a guest appearance from Jason Isbell.

The album title is a tribute to Townes Earle’s adopted hometown of New York City, where the Nashville native now lives. He spent most of last year touring the globe and winning new fans. He also managed to squeeze in three trips to Australia in less than eighteen months.

Harlem River Blues is out 24th September.
