Lee Kernaghan digs deep for Flood Relief
Lee Kernaghan who is headlining the event, summed up the mood of his fellow performers earlier today;
“I think we are all profoundly moved and saddened by what has happened. This has happened in our own backyard. It’s really hit home, and the concert is a way that we can all come together and do something for the flood victims”.
And whilst the full list of artists has not been revealed, Lee hints that we can expect some of Australia’s finest country stars and more than a few Golden Guitar nominees.
“It’s a veritable who’s who of Australian country music. I think it’s the biggest bill that I have ever seen in my career in country music, as far as star power on one show. So I think there will be a real spirit in the air tonight”.
Lee Kernaghan headlines the Free Concert for Flood Relief: 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Bicentennial Park, Kable Avenue, Tamworth. Find more details here.
