Lorrie Morgan joins 'Pure Country'
Producer Randall Wreghitt says Morgan will join Joe Nichols, another well-known country singer, in the musical based on the hit 1992 movie starring George Strait and Lesley Ann Warren.
The film was adapted for the stage by Peter Masterson. The show will be scorred by Steve Dorff, who wrote songs for the film, including two No. 1 country singles, Heartland and I Cross My Heart.
