Miranda Lambert cancels Australian dates
The American singer was set to join fellow country superstar Alan Jackson this week in Australia, but is under doctor’s orders to rest.
"I was very much looking forward to Australia with Alan Jackson and performing for all the music lovers down under", said Lambert.
Jasmine Rae will now perform the second spot on each night of the tour, with Golden Guitar winners McAlister Kemp added as the opening act.
John Williamson will step in for Lambert at Rocks the Hunter this weekend.
Alan Jackson's Australian tour dates are:
- Fri Mar 4: Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
- Sun Mar 6: Rocks The Hunter, Hope Estate, Hunter Valley
- Mon Mar 7: Acer Arena, Sydney
- Thu Mar 10: Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
- Fri Mar 11: Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
- Sat Mar 12: Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
