Miranda Lambert leads ACM Awards nominations

Ahead of her Australian tour, Miranda Lambert has scooped seven nominations at the 46th annual Academy of Country Music Awards in the USA.

The singer emerged as the top nominee, followed closely by the Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney, The Band Perry and Taylor Swift.

Lambert’s nominations include Top Female Vocalist – an honor she won last year, Entertainer of the Year, Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year for 'The House that Built Me'. She is also nominated for Vocal of the Year for her collaboration with Sheryl Crow and Loretta Lynn on Coal Miner’s Daughter.

Lambert will join Country legend Alan Jackson for their first Australian tour in March.

The ACM Award winners will be announced on April 3rd in Las Vegas.
