Australian country singer Catherine Britt will release her third studio album next month.

Recorded late in 2009 at Melbourne's Sing Sing studio and produced by Shane Nicholson and Bill Chambers, the self-titled album features fourteen track all either written or co-written by Britt.

The 25 year old, who won the Female Artist of the Year title at the 2009 Country Music Awards of Australia, will be one of the home-grown artists speaking at this Year's Song Summit - the music expo for songwriters and composers happening in Sydney in June.

Catherine Britt is due out on May 28.
