Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville

Songwriter Red Lane will be honoured in Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s series, 'Poets and Prophets: Legendary Country Songwriters'.

Lane penned hits for Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Conway Twitty and Faron Young. He is also behind countless classics including Tammy Wynette's 'Til I Get It Right', George Strait's 'Tell Me Something Bad About Tulsa' and Merle Haggard's 'My Own Kind Of Hat'. He has also regularly played session guitar for Bobby Bare, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson.

Lane is set to give a rare performance and interview at the event which will be streamed on the museum's website. He was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1993 and remains active in the Nashville song writing community.
