The return of Bec Lavelle

Bec Lavelle
Dec 16, 2010 Updated Jan 18, 2011

The name might not be instantly familiar but chances are you’ve already heard Bec Lavelle's music.

The Australian sang the theme tune to the popular TV series McLeod’s Daughters, which ran for 8 seasons and screened in 110 countries across the world.

Her 2007 album Intimate Portrait was produced by Savage Garden’s Daniel Jones, garnering hit songs Many Things and Raining In Me.

Bec is stepping back into the limelight with her newly released album Love & Bravery, written and recorded in Australia and Nashville. She plans to re-locate to Europe in 2011, presumably to spread the word on Aussie country music.

You can catch her in Tamworth on 19th January at a songwriters showcase – alongside Luke Austen, Katrina Burgoyne, Johanna Hernara and Rachel Richards.
