Waylon Jennings tribute album
Nine years after his death, a new album pays tribute to the man and his music. The Music Inside: A Collaboration Dedicated to Waylon Jennings, Volume 1, features recordings by Shooter Jennings, Jessi Colter and Alabama, covering Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way.
The late singer-songwriter was instrumental in the creation of country music’s Outlaw movement in the 1970s, alongside Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash.
The tribute project will feature three albums released over the next year, with contributions also coming from Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Sunny Sweeney, James Otto, Kris Kristofferson and Trace Adkins.

Waylon Arnold Jennings (June 15, 1937 – February 13, 2002) was an American country music singer, songwriter, and musician. Jennings began playing guitar at eight and began performing at twelve on KVOW radio. Jennings formed a band The Texas Longhorns. Jennings worked as a D. J on KVOW, KDAV, KYTI and KLLL.
