Willie gets a haircut
Nelson, now 77, had short hair when he began his career in music in the 50s, but grew it out as he became one of the country's most musically independent outlaws.
His new 'do, which has been dubbed the "Haircut Heard Around the World" has attracted plenty of commentary theorising about the reason behind the trim and the impact it might have on his public image and career.
Nelson's own publicist Elaine Schock told media that he didn't make a big fuss about it, and that perhaps he had simply grown tired of maintaining such long hair.
