About
I am a policemans wife in Gundagai. I sing at the Nursing home and in Church. I am the Lay-presider of Sacraments for the Gundagai uniting Church. I saw a ghost at the Gundagai Gaol when it was re-opened for viewing last year. I wrote a song about her.

My town my song. For Abc.net. This is a song about the Ghsot I saw at the Old Gaol when it was opened for a day to the Public. It has now been decided to re-open the old gaol to tourists. K
“The Ghost of Gundagai Gaol”
V2
I am the spirit of the Gundagai Gaol
I’ve seen some horrors and could tell you some tales
I knew Captain moonlight who robbed the unknown
I stood by the death bed of the copper webb-bowen
CHORUS
Come dance with me
Through the arum lilies
At the Gundagai Gaol where I dance in the breeze
I’m warmth on your cheek
and mist in the trees
You may sense my presence as my spirit roams free
V2
From the watch-tower I had an exceptional view
Of the Murrumbidgee ferries all lined in a queue
and the wool shed still stands I can see it from here
And I witnessed the purchase of the pub with no beer
CHORUS
Come dance with me
Through the arum lilies
At the Gundagai Gaol where I dance in the breeze
I’m warmth on your cheek
and mist in the trees
You may sense my presence as my spirit roams free
V3
I saw Yarri and Jackie save lots of white men
They carved out some breast plates in honor of them
One was pinched from the museum in June
Where the history of Gundagai haunts every room
CHORUS
Come dance with me
Through the arum lilies
At the Gundagai Gaol where I dance in the breeze
I’m warmth on your cheek
and mist in the trees
You may sense my presence as my spirit roams free
