About

Four years ago I met my husband, best friend and great musician/guitar player, Rhys. We knew each other when we were in our teens but went our seperate ways and followed our own paths, that is until I turned up at a gig where Rhys was playing. He encouraged me to have a go at writing lyrics and together with him adding the music, we are enjoying writing songs together. As Rhys has mostly played in Country Bands our songs have the country feel. In Tamworth 2010 one of our songs "Don't be Afraid (Life's moving On)" made it into the Professional Semi-Finals which was just wonderful. We have also done well with some of our songs in competitions in the USA. Last year I wrote the Script for a play which I also Directed and which was performed in the small country town that I call home, Crows Nest, Qld. The play is "Christmas at Wollymegollywheresmyroogone Station" which includes lots of colourful characters plus the baddie, the Bunyip. I have also written a few short stories and hope to one day have some published.
